I cannot cry that ability is long gone

Lying down on the earth’s naked body, feeling the cold wind whisper through my veins.
Will soon freeze to death but I cannot move, I cannot find the strength.
How did I ever end up here?

Thinking of my life and the ones who made it worth living, what will they say? What will they say when they see my body pale and hard; will they scream or cry at all? It is dark all around me and all I can see is trees, the branches are reaching for the sky while I am lying here still. I am dreaming of another life while my body fades away; now I am a bird flying through the night, flying and hoping to see the light.

Soon I will find it, the sun and a wonderful pink sky. I will fly towards it and I will not ever look behind. I will fly through the clouds and see the earth full of life; I will smile to the people who found what they needed in life.
My body is gone; I cannot feel anything besides the cold air in my lungs. My eyes are heavy and I am feeling a bit tired, I think I will sleep for a while.
