I'm one of those weird people that always have enjoyed school (if you look away from bullying). I've always been a rather good student, I feel bad if I don't do my homework and I'll burst out in laughter if I try to tell a lie.

Right now I'm drowning in schoolwork, but I can honestly say I couldn't care less. I know exactly what I'm going to do everyday the next month and it's kind of relaxing just to sit down with a school book, Etta James singing in the background and read your way to an A (I've also never understood those students that claim they read but can't remember anything, sorry if you're one of them). I like to have my days planned out, but I always make sure to have an opening everyday as well if something happens (though with the lack of social life, it's rather unlikely to happen). And since we're talking about confessions, I've dreamed about a fold out bed behind the blackboard so I could sleep at school. A bit crazy but…yeah, with a library that big and free wi-fi I'm sure I could have a great time living there. Actually one of my teachers used to joke about me sleeping at school, since I was in the classroom 07:30 and left it 17:00, 17:30.


Are you a fellow geek or are you one of those students I don't seem to understand?

Confession time, I've never ever been at a music festival. But then again, I've just stared to travel abroad by myself (or with my lil' sis). But we all have to start somewhere, right?

So when I heard that Lana and Kanye was heading to Sweden, I know it was meant to be. And finally the light in the end of the endless tunnel of finance problems within my wallet, is starting to appear. If I did have job atm, it would be a whole mother story, but since I don't yeaaaah….let's just say it makes things a bit harder.

Another thing that makes things A LOT HARDER (exactly 2700 SEK harder), is the fact that I need to bring my laptop. My old salon's new apprentice is having her final exam these exact dates, and since I'm her mentor I need to be there for her (in form of mail, SMS and MMS). Since this is abroad, 3G and MMS is actually quite expensive, even though I'm still in Scandinavia, and until they find a secure way to actually LOCK my tent for real, I'm not leaving my laptop there all by it self. I'm also having a little bit of mixed feelings about this whole thing, it's both scary and exciting at the same time, and the fact that I'm going by myself, makes me feel a little bit "safer" in a hotel room, rather than a tent. I'm really scared of the dark, so I can just imagine how scared I would be in a tent all by myself when it's pitch black outside.


But I know I will feel at home with a bunch of semi-drunk Swedes, and please do say hi if you recognize me ^_^

I always see a lot of "negative" headlines when I check the recently written posts, and being the arrogant brat I sometimes am, I've said that I'm never going to write one of those. Well….I've already broken my promise twice. One
talking about my body and how I see it compared to how the society sees it. And then we have this little post.

As some of you know I'm taking "påbygg" in high school, which is an offer for people that have taken vocational education (like hairdresser, kindergarden teachers, IT so on) rather than the normal high school education. Fellow for all of the vocational education in Norway is that you quit high school after 1, 2 or sometimes 3 year and work as an apprentice for 1, 2 or 3 years (in total 4 years education). "Påbygg" makes it possible for us to finish our high school education, BUT it's a two year curriculum. It's quite heavy in other words. Some school demands that you finish your education before you go on a higher level, so many that quit in their vocational job for different reasons have to take this. I do it so I'm finished with this before I turn 45, have x-number of children and DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR SCHOOL! But that's also the only reason. Sometimes I really wonder why I don't quit. The school I'm going to in August don't demands anything else than I've passed 3 years of high school, which I did when I passed my exam after my apprenticeship. I'm also aming for four A's (in math, history, sciense and "muntlig norsk" which I don't know the english word for, sorry) which is not helping to lower my stress level *sigh*.

I don't really like to update my blog twice a day, but then again who cares (except me, and..maybe you?)?
But AAAAANYWAY. Like my profile page says, I'm a hairdresser. I worked as a hairdresser for two years before
I took a break to do some more studies.

What I haven't shared with many people, since I didn't knew that it was for sure, but towards the ending of my apprenticeship, I did hair for a tv-show. I wouldn't in a life time believe that I would do hair for tv at age 19/20. Normally I wouldn't watch a show like this. I don't find them funny, they're simply just not my cup of tea.

Kommer ni ihåg det inlägget jag skrev .... jag vet inte, för en vecka sedan? Det som sa att jag skulle lägga upp OOTD's och prata om min vecka? Det är uppenbart att det inte hände, men vem bryr sig? MEN som ni kanske kan se, så skriver jag på SVENSKA (woho?). Ni får bara stå ut med mig om jag gör några fel. Jag vet inte bättre. Norska och svenska är väldig lika på många sätt, utan skriftlig finns det visse skillnader.

This week was spring break….or "spring break". Like I've said before I have this big school assignment, which is due March 4th. So I've of course worked on the assignment, and also another assignment.

If that wasn't enough, I've been in the salon 3 times this week, where I've worked 2 days of these 3. One day with costumers, one of these was my sister. I can still not understand why her last hairdresser said she couldn't lighten her hair more than what she did last time. Biggest lie ever. I think she spent 2 hours in the salon last time, for some highlights which didn't help too much. Not to brag, but I did her hairs in 2 hours and 30 minutes, taking over double the amount highlights and finish with a mini coloration and a blow dry. The result was like day and night, and I'm really happy with it. I'm very pleased with the fact that I'm still as good as I were when I quit last summer. I love doing hair and will defiantly go back to it after I've finished school.

I'm thinking about doing this weekly post called "my week", so monday to thursday, and then weekend. It will include outfit of the day (if I manage to take a picture where I don't look like an oompa loopma), song recommendations, what I've been doing and 5 completely useless, but amazing facts. I will also do my best to try writing in Swedish, simply because I have to learn it sooner or later if I'm moving to Sweden. Please keep in mind that I'm still learning, 'cause even though Norwegian and Swedish are pretty similar, there are some differences between those two languages.

A guide for any foreigners (or even Scandinavians)

I started working on my school project today. It's this huuuuge project that I should probably spend triple the amount of time on than what I've jet to do. The biggest problem is that I don't consider my self as a "long distance runner" when it comes to school work. You know, the person that needs long time to slowly build up a master piece. My sister is like this and her grades is GREAT. Me on the other hand, I consider myself as a "Sprint race runner", where I do my best work 1-2 days before it's due date. My grades are just as great as my sister's, so there is absolutely nothing wrong begin a sprint racer. The only thing is that I'm scared, since it's such a big project. I've ended up with carrying around a notebook so I can take notes when I feel for it, and gather all of them and write a good manu&s;cript the weekend before. The problem I have when I sit on the computer with the manu&s;cript in front of me is that I want to write it all down, in the exact order I want it to be and etc. etc. etc. I think of something great, but it doesn't fit in right where I am, get angry, try to think of something that fits and ends up forgetting my first thought. Therefor the notebook idea is a great one, because I don't think of the order thing, I can just write down what ever I think of, where ever I want. Student tip of the day.

I haven't blogged lately, just because I just haven't felt for it. And now as I feel like blogging, I don't have anything to blog about. It's not ALL of my personal life I want to write about online, even though I don't have that many readers.
