What is life?

What is life?

To me, life is something we go trough to gain experience and to be able to learn from those experience to make the best out of everything around us.

When we were a baby, we had to learn how to sit, how to crawl, how to walk'.
We've been facing challenges from day 1. But it is because we forget such awesome achievements, that we only focus on how hard a ''life challenge '' is, and we lose sight of the awesome rewards we get after surpassing those life challenges.

Everything in life happens for a reason, whether we know it or not'.

Why is it so important to follow the laws of nature?

From the beginning of time, all creatures on this earth had to maintain themselves, and evolve according to the laws of universe, ''Laws of nature'' .

Regardless of whether we are seeking a solution to a design or process challenge, the principles, models and laws inherent in the natural world can provide a wealth of inspiration, brilliance, and the key to solving problems that nature might just have answers to.

Some of those principles include: Create conditions conducive to life; Honour interconnectedness; Be locally attuned and responsive; Be resource (material and energy effective); Use life-friendly chemistry; Integrate growth with development; and co-evolve to survive.

Time and time and again we have been shown all the positive effects in aligning ourselves with the universe. BUT!!! We have also been shown the negative effects of not following these laws and principles.... We are currently experiencing far too many of those negative effects than is actually necessary.

All the answers of all our major problems can be found all around us....we just have to pay attention to them...

Why are we greedy? What is greed?

So,what is greed? and why are we greedy?

Greed, as such, is a human trait, in animals it is instinct. Traits and instincts are inherent in all living plants and animals which includes self preservation. So basically, it was needed to survive, biologically speaking anyways.

Although there is a strong biological basis for human behavior, humans are the most social creatures on earth. The societies and cultures we create have a major effect on our behavior, mollifying and modifying our biological reactions.

Human social life has radically altered the need to gather resources to live and reproduce. The need for food, water or shelter is biological -- a lack results in death. However, human society has changed how and why resources are gathered. The biological necessity is the same: humans need to eat, drink, sleep, stay out of the rain. But society has developed a way to transport current resources into the future for use in that future.

Now, our current social structure basically rewards this ''Greedy'' behavior, by rewarding what we have acquired due to this behavior. The problem with this is, there is no longer a need to gather anything in excess... Most of us can live a very comfortable life with just fulfilling our basic biological needs.

All of us should focus on those who cannot fulfill their basic biological needs, because as you may know, not everyone is as fortunate...''Greed'' Is no longer needed, we are doing fine. Now let's just help out those who are in need and make the world a better place....Btw, this counts for all living creature on the planet ;D

If you actually read all of this, I salute you for taking the time and effort (:

why are people mean to others?

There are number of reasons why people could act mean towards someone else.

I would argue, that the main reasons are :

Because of the unpleasant feelings people get when they are reminded of their anxieties some of them take extra measures in order to prevent themselves from encountering these situations that remind them of their anxieties.

Those who harshly criticize you or judge you for no reason, might be the people who feel inferior, and who try to safeguard themselves by devaluing others in order to feel superior.

We are a reflection of our own environment....

Why do humans act the way they do?

Our behavior is deeply routed to the environment we have been subjected to.
So, when there is change to our environment, especially radical ones, it is met with that reactionary mindset that we have been indoctrinated in.

To truly understand our compulsive nature to oppose, and deny change, we must visit the root source of which that seed was planted on.

So, if you ever want to understand someone's behavior, remember, everyone is a reflection of their environment....

With that same notion in mind, to truly understand yourself better, you must first understand your environment, and it's implications on you.

Why are certain drugs illegal and others aren't?

The legality and or illegality of a particular substance, in most cases, does not correlate with the harmful effects it may have.

It is important not to confuse illegality with dangerousness. The reasons why drugs are assigned particular legal statuses are mainly cultural and political in nature, not scientific.

I mean, pharmaceutical medicine are also considered drugs, and there are some legal pharmaceutical medicine that are even more harmful than certain other drugs that are illegal...

It is crucial for you to inform yourself as much as you can on a particular topic before you cast definitive judgement on it.
