Possibly due to the pop culture image of this song as the cliche song of the upper class dining on lobster with their fine china I never really got this song. It's always had a very particular feeling that, musically, was pretty boring. Now after hearing this... remix? Recomposition? Whatever you'd call it. Now after hearing this I'm basically hearing the original in an entirely different light. This song (the original and this version) is a very powerful and emotional song not nearly as bland as I thought. I guess it just took hearing it through the ears of Max Richter for me to enjoy the original.

Now when I listen to Vivaldi's version I hear something entirely different - and I like it!?
