3. Blind Pick Normal 5s
4. Draft Pick Normal 5s
5. Blind Pick Normal 3s
6. Ranked 3s (Let's be serious)
7. Ranked 5s (It's your 5 man, do what you like)
8. Custom Games
9. Co-op vs AI
Here is the list of gametypes designated for people who want to see how high they can climb:
1. Solo/Duo Queue
That's weird, one of these lists is pretty short.
If you want to pick anything and mess around, there is a very long list of gametypes for you. There is no reason you need to come into a ranked game. I know you saw Voyboy and Imaqtpie play outside their roles on whatever they felt like playing and crush.
When you watch streams, and you see everyone pick anything, that is because they are at the top of the ladder. If you are Bronze/Silver/Gold/Plat/ or possibly even low Diamond, you have absolutely no excuse to come into ranked and not give your teammates your best effort.

- That's great that you are only here to have fun and relax, go do it in any queue but this one.
If you only want to have fun, go have it. Some of us want to climb, some of us are trying to make Diamond before the end of the season, and the apathy about what you play is ruining the game experience of your teammates (Looking at you Diamond V 0's).
