I'm fourteen, and I just had brain surgery.

I'll be out for our whole softball season, and I've been very depressed. I went to the first game, even though I couldn't play. I arrived to see every girl on the field had my number sewn on the front of their jersey.

I cried from happiness. My team GMH.

My little 8-year-old brother asked me for some quarters, and I gave him some thinking he was going to put them in the machines to get a toy or gum.

He took them and put them in a holder for a little girl who has Leukemia.

Everyone was hugging and crying and saying there goodbye's as I sat and watched the boy I've liked for 3 years just forget about me.
Until he pulled me aside, said "I've been planning to do this since the 6th grade" and he kissed me.
