Vacation Awaits

"Our band started out here in Stockholm, at our school in the 9th grade. Some of us had ideas of starting a band but we didn't take it so seriously. But we started to go to our music classroom after school and playing songs over and over and having very fun, we even attended the schools talentshow and at our exam of that school playing a KoRn song and a A Day to Remember song. We did realise that we had so fun that actually wanted to spend more time playing songs and maybe even write our own songs. But when the summer vacation started we couldn't play anymore in the music classroom like we used to do, we really missed the fun times we had and still planned to spend much time on our band, writing songs, maybe getting to play in our local area and such. It was also on this summer vacation our band was named. It was named Vacation Awaits, why? First it started off with singer drawing loggos for our band, not sure what he would write as a name he chose the name Vacation Awaits because it represent the vacation starting and even though it sounds good, it was not for us, we wanted to be able to play as we used to. Vacation Awaits represent that, the feeling of a bad and sad time coming. That's how we started. Now, we're getting started again! Soon getting to play for free in one of the members school and maybe record songs later sometime, we would really also like to write songs and making them the best we can. Taking inspirations from all of the members music backgrounds, Death Metal, Deathcore, Metalcore, Hardcore and Progressive music. Mixing it to a good and variable mix. We would also be able to play local gigs if possible, maybe when we've done some songs. That's the story of our band, Vacation Awaits. "
