Doctor Who (SPOILER)

Vad är era teorier kring doktorns namn?
Kommer en någonsin få veta det? Vad kan det vara? Vad kommer hända med serien om vi får veta?

Såg klart sista säsongen idag och har suttit och grubblat på detta. Det troligaste är väl att vi aldrig får veta eller att vi får veta det när han dör, alltså i slutet av hela serien.
Dessutom kan jag inte riktigt föreställa mig honom i något annat namn än doktorn så jag förblir gärna ovetande.

Kommer aldrig få veta det, and slutet av serien? haha thy'll never cancel this.

Sant, dock har jag för mig att en Time Lord bara kan regenerera 12 gånger så doktorn kan ju bara regenerera 1 gång till... Om inte skrivarna gör om allt på något konstigt sätt.

Det har sagts allt ifrån 12 till 500 gånger, men det normala är 12 dock.
River gav ju doktorn sina kvarvarande generationer dock har jag för mig

Öum, ingen aning om var, Silence of the Library prolly since att hon "dog" där.

Men i gamla DW säger ju The Master någon gång att han närmar sig slutet av sina 12 genereringar och därför dör snart har jag för mig.
Är det inte i Lets Kill Hitler som River försöker döda doktorn med ett giftigt läppstift (som jag ej kommer ihåg namnet på) men sedan ångrar sig och räddar honom med hjälp av hennes generations-krafts-grejs?

"It is first stated in The Deadly Assassin (1976) that a Time Lord can regenerate twelve times before dying (thirteen incarnations in all). There are exceptions to this rule, however; when a renegade Time Lord known as the Master finds himself at the end of his regenerative cycle, he takes possession of the body of another person to continue living (The Keeper of Traken, 1981), although he was using the Source of Traken to bind his mind to the body. It may be that the Time Lords also have the ability to circumvent the limit – in The Five Doctors (1983) the Master is offered a new cycle of regenerations by the High Council in exchange for his help. In Mawdryn Undead these appear to be the result of mishandling stolen technology, but in Underworld they are implied to be the inevitable result of limited technology that reinvigorates, rather than transforms, the subject's appearance (in this case, the Minyans, with whom the Time Lords shared much of their technology), thereby regenerating 'the body, not the soul'."
