"Project V13 Lives on, Black Isle Turning to Crowdfunding"
"Project V13 lives! After Interplay was forced to let go of the Fallout MMO licence to Bethesda, Interplay and the recently revived Black Isle Studios is pushing forward with the remnants of Project V13. Now devoid of any references to Fallout, Project V13 is moving forward with a crowdfunder, although this is not something you will find on Kickstarter.
Black Isle’s crowdfunder for Project V13 is exclusive to their own website, and is following a different track than typical crowdfunding groups. For one, backers are not investing for a copy of the game, but instead the privilege to access the Black Isle forums. The pledged money is also not going to a final product of Project V13. Instead, it is to create a proof of concept prototype that Black Isle will use to raise additional funding to complete the game. And yes, this does mean that there is no guarantee that backers will see a final project come into fruition.
While the entire Kickstarter revolution is far from perfect, this is the first time I have seen a public crowdfunder that essentially is taking a huge risk regarding their product. If Project V13 can’t secure additional funding, the crowdfunder would be all for naught, and if it does become successful, investors are essentially doing just that, investing some money with the reward being a potential release. It is a major gamble that Black Isle is taking. We shall see if it pays off."

Det har dock varit på väg i över 5-6 år nu, de som höll på med det från början var Interplay som gick i kk (typ) och senare återhämtade sig när de sålde rätten till alla sina titlar, de fick ett backslag nu senast rörande V13 förra året och nu verkar det vara Black Isle som tar över projektet.
LF någon i sthlm som kan skjutsa min far + hans jävla dator till webhallen.
