DoW 1 = Glorious, speciellt Dark Crusade kampanjen! Vance Motherfucing Stubbs!
DoW 2 = Shame
DoW 2 har, by far, bättre story. Den är mer sammanhängande och bättre berättad. Spelet har även superior gameplay då det flyter på bättre. Dock saknar jag de massiva striderna i ettan.

Man får väl se om det finns mods med större pop cap eller så.

Har ryktas så mycket om trean, men inget officiellt har släppts - right?
"During the last console cycle, there was one game series that let you have the fights Star Wars fans could only dream of. That series was Star Wars Battlefront. Sadly, there were only two installments in the series and a third one never materialized outside of a trailer and then some leaked gameplay footage (which I would love to share with you but Lucasfilm decided to put a copyright claim on all leaked footage). So the question remains, “How close was Free Radical to completing Battlefront 3? Well, here’s the sad answer: only some bug-testing was left to do before Free Radical had to can the project due to alleged financial difficulties and a falling out with Lucasarts.
“We had a 99% finished game that just needed bug fixing for release. It should have been our most successful game, but it was cancelled for financial reasons. I’m happy that people did at least get to see what we were working on and share the team’s enthusiasm for it.” Steve Ellis, cofounder of Free Radical, said in an interview with gamesTM magazine. The game was also quite promising as Ellis described it: “We were making a game with very high ambition. You could start a battle on the ground, jump into a ship and fly into space, continuing on to dock in a capital ship and continue the battle there. We’d had to build all kinds of new tech and overcome numerous technical challenges and limitations but we had done it”
Martin Wakely, the Project Manager at Free Radical, spoke about the relationship Free Radical had with LucasArts towards the end of development and the attitude of the employees at the time: “As a member of staff I could see our relationship with LucasArts becoming more distant and feared the worse. They had a change of management and a change of direction. I wasn’t party to all the ins and outs but we had both our games signed with them, and it became apparent we needed to look for other projects fast. The management were very open and we were kept informed of all developments. We worked hard to try and get some projects signed but it wasn’t to be. The writing was on the wall for a long time but people stayed loyal rather than jumping ship.”

Haha oh ja... så dum att det inte var sant.. Dels var enheternas AI dum som en sten, men opponent AIn var inte speciellt smart den heller..
Ayupp. Inget har släppts förutom att dom arbetar på det och att det antagligen kommer ha mer RPG element.

Det är så synd när man sitter och ska köra vad man tror ska bli ett episkt battle, så är motståndar AI:n helt jävla blåst och bara kör in sina tanks i väggen på kartan.
Det är en riktigt bra spelserie, för att inte nämna ett riktigt bra RTS. Dom borde verkligen satsa mer på det.
