Spoken Poetry - Stand up tall

Stand up tall and never look back
Keep your chin up and face the world
You can do it
Ofc you can
You know it's hard, but you can do it!
You've fought thousands fights before,
even though this is bigger than the others
you can still do it

Don't keep that war inside of yourself,
let someone help
Let someone ease the pain
If not, grab onto something and walk straight forward
Remember that someone out there cares

You're not alone in this world hurting
You're not alone with bruises and scars
You know this

But don't let it stop you from getting help
Don't try to hide it inside of yourself
Don't even think of ending it all

Because even if you don't believe it
or can't see it
someone actually cares about you

So calm down and be who you are
Don't wear that fake smile of yours
You don't have to hide anymore
Cause you know that if you fall
someone will catch you

Maybe not the first couple of times
but eventually someone will come along
and stand by your side in all weathers.
