This emptiness is numbing
There’s a hole where my heart used to be
Nothing feels enough
But I’m still here, I’m still standing

The world is like a moonless night
And I feel like an outsider
Looking in through a dirty window
Never truly being a part

Life is so dark and numb
My heart was ripped out
Along with all feelings and emotions
I’m just an empty vessel

I’m not normal, I’ll never be normal
And that’s fine, I’ll always be myself
Standing strong and tall
With a hole where my heart used to be
