Poetry of the night

When the sun goes down,
and there's no one else around,
that's where my thoughts take ground,
and in the heavens soaring they'll be found,

a pitiful darkness creeping,
my heart and mind is one,
now the light is sleeping,
and the games of shadows has begun,

my eyes may be darkened but my heart see,
the light of the heart is bright,
a lot of scary monsters there may be,
but i'm a warrior of the night,
