An angel with bleeding wings,
broken on the inside,
scared of what your feelings brings,
how many tears you've cried.

You shook the tree of my mistrust,
and blew the leaves away,
I've no defense against your knife thrust,

I can't recall the day we fell,
a day I still felt fine,
one thing I've learned living in this shell,
It's hard to find angels in hell.
