A lie to be reckoned.

I have known you for all my life
always proud of my loving wife
They say the ring symbolizes how we feel
but to me it's really no big deal

I solemnly hope that this poem will prove to you
That what people tell you is not always true
Because some people say it's the beginning that matters
some people say what matters is the end
others will tell you the important part is the middlepart
but I personally think it's how we ascend

Some of them want their fairytale story
some of them want eternal glory
but in truth the fairytale ends with a lot of pain
A pain so insane it makes you walk in eternal rain

But there is a good reason for a fairytale to exist
It is for those lost in the mist and have temptations to resist
And if there is someone you love with all your heart
Then love him only or you are nothing more than just a tart

Some claim death to be a relief
but that is only ones belief
I claim the best to be the journey to you
but what I say is not always true.
